About the role:

We are recruiting for Wellbeing Advisors to join the Student Hub teams at City and Islington College. You will take responsibility for delivering Wellbeing services and support, throughout the College to support the wellbeing of students to succeed in achieving their learning goals and qualifications.

You will provide generic information and advice to students on matters concerning wellbeing and the importance of seeking help if needed and be a designated child protection officer.

It is expected that the post-holder will work with other members of the Student Services teams, Counsellors and teaching staff to advertise the service and ensure that information is reaching all students/Staff across the organisation.

About you:

With a relevant Level 3 or higher professional qualification and experience delivering support services to students and/or young people, we are looking for a professional with experience in successfully delivering Mental Health Support Services. You will be familiar with current developments in Community Care and have a knowledge of legislation and issues relating to Mental Health and mentoring support.

City Islington College is an award-winning further education college in London with centres in Holloway, Angel and Finsbury Park. The College offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses from entry levels right through to HE for young and adult learners. These include foundation learning, A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Access to Higher Education. The College also works closely with all stakeholders and offers bespoke training and development programmes.
